My tattoo is of the type of cross that was a very common
home made tattoo
to get when I was at school. It seemed to be not about religion but
about
being hard and savvy. 'England' is of course a country and is also
Scotland's scapegoat. Anything wrong gets blamed on England. Cultural
understanding is vital to a healthy culture. I thought that a Scots
person
wearing an England tattoo would make them think differently about our
neighbours.
